Introduction

Swiss Design, is a clean and simple approach to graphic design that started in Switzerland in the 1950s. It focuses on clear communication using sans-serif fonts, organized layouts, and minimal decoration, often with bold but limited colours. A key part of this style is the Grid System, which uses lines to structure content, making designs balanced, consistent, and easy to read. These ideas continue to influence modern web design, branding, and user interfaces.

In my posters about Eminem I was trying to communicate the type of music he creates, rap is usually dark and serious, I used a grid to make all the text and pictures fit together better and look good but I could’ve changed the top words to be a bit more grid like, I selected bold font just like his music style I made the text at the top the biggest then I put a picture and then the place at the bottom, If i did this again I would mess around with the grids a bit more.

In my poster about snoop Dogg I used the colour green to symbolise something he likes to smoke. I used the grid to align his name on the top and side, I also used a picture and put it in the middle of the poster to create something cool too look at and put song lyrics on it (replaced certain words with nugget), I included a certain singers house number (P.Di**y). I I were to do this again i would add something in between the picture and date and location to make it look more filled up
